Harry E. Rosenberger papers, 1892-1964.

The correspondence in the collection includes business and personal correspondence. Rosenberger's writings include religious and secular materials. Family materials include genealogies, biographies, autobiographies and financial papers. Papers related to the University reflect its various name changes: Central Holiness University, John Fletcher College (1925-1946) and Kletzing College (1946-1950). Included in these papers are articles of incorporation, annual reports, college bulletins, alumni correspondence and financial statements. Harry Rosenberger was born on a farm near Victor, Iowa. In 1906 he began a 6 year period of studies including theology and religion at Central Holiness University in University Park, Iowa. From 1912 to 1915 he served as a minister in a small Iowa town. From 1915 to 1921 he taught at Central Holiness before leaving to further his studies in New York City (Ph. D., New York University).
