Harry Rosenberger was born on a farm near Victor, Iowa. In 1906 he began a 6 year period of studies including theology and religion at Central Holiness University in University Park, Iowa. From 1912 to 1915 he served as a minister in a small Iowa town. From 1915 to 1921 he taught at Central Holiness before leaving to further his studies in New York City (Ph. D., New York University).
